Latest Updates from Our Project:

Surveys Sent!
14 days ago – Mon, Feb 23, 2026 at 08:36:32 AM

Everybody should have a survey waiting for you here at Backerkit!

During the process of filling that out, add any add-ons that you might have missed (we unlocked all of them!) and if necessary fill out your shipping information.

PLEASE ANSWER THE SURVEY BY THE END OF THIS MONTH (SUNDAY FEBRUARY 28TH)

After shipping addresses are in I'll be able to place all the book orders. ☺

Thank you again for backing the project!

PS: If you've got friends who missed out but are keen on it, there is a pre-order store that will close when the surveys end on Sunday.

Last Stretch Goal Unlocked and What's Next!
24 days ago – Fri, Feb 13, 2026 at 08:09:35 PM

The Miraculous Adventurers Add-On has been UNLOCKED!

We are close enough to the achievement total and the end of the project's funding period is nigh so: I'm unlocking the last add-on PDF! 9 unique archetypes/subclasses including the Rampaging Spirit, College of the Miraculous, Circle of Hell, Unrelenting fighter, Sensei, Oath of the Magebreaker, Ghostwalker rogue, Sovereign warlock, and Magic Conduit wizard.

What's Next

It's not possible to get an export of everyone's email addresses before the project's data gets sent to Backerkit's Pledge Manager services (I tried that earlier today and then started a conversation with Backerkit's staff to find out why). That should take about 24 hours after the funding period ends, so please expect your PDFs of Complete Class Compendium to be sent via DriveThruRPG on Sunday (probably in the morning).

What's After That

Backerkit has to approve some back end stuff and I'm told the earliest I can start sending surveys (to get shipping information going for the process of sending physical rewards) is possibly on Monday, though that might be later in the week. I'm eager to keep the pedal to the metal and send everybody all their things (add-ons too!) as soon as I can.

That's All, Folks!

Expect that survey next week. Thank you again for backing the project, I am blown away by all this, and VERY stoked to hear what you all get up to with these classes! ☺

The Final Week Has ARRIVED!
about 1 month ago – Sat, Feb 07, 2026 at 07:37:18 AM

That went by fast!

THANK YOU for backing the project! ♥

In the time since the last update I have finished preparing all of the unexpectedly popular add-ons (did *not* think I was gonna need so many!), received the print proofs, made some tweaks, submitted new files, and ordered a second set of print proofs.

Dali considers what kind of Occultist to play while Pepper ponders her Exemplar.

Collector's Pledge Level?

Usually I keep hold of all the print proofs (well some find their way into the hands of friends as holiday gifts) BUT—would anybody want a signed print proof as a special pledge reward? If that is you, tell me and suggest a number for that pledge level. There would only be a maximum of two of these available (one for the softcover, one for the hardcover), and aside from embarrassing typos I picked out or minor tweaks to how the title logo sits on the book's spine they will be identical to the final version. Except of course that only one of each of these will exist. Message or email me if you want one, we'll make a pledge level for it. ☺

Miraculous Adventures at $7,500

My suspicion is that sometime early this week (by Wednesday I hope) we'll unlock the next add-on. When that happens I am going to want folks' feedback before making the decision about what's next. Everything I've got in queue is big enough that I wouldn't want to start the work without knowing more about the destination (the smallest of these options is 20k words, or half a novel worth of gaming stuff, so not to be taken up lightly).

That's it folks! Thank you again for backing Complete Class Compendium, helping share it around the internet, and generally being good people.

Fourth Add-On Unlocked and Miraculous Adventurers On Deck
about 1 month ago – Sat, Jan 24, 2026 at 10:30:09 AM

ANOTHER ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED?!

What even is reality?! This is crazy. Madness! The response to Complete Class Compendium continues to outpace (my? Everyone's?) expectations. You are why. Thank you.

The $5 Add-On for Adventurers of Fortune and Affordable Enchantments is now available! This PDF features 4 fateful class options and 15 magic items each flavorful, priced at 150 gold or less, and able to be broken for a greater impact.

On Deck: Miraculous Adventurers $5 Add-On at $7,500

I desperately need to stop relentlessly jamming the refresh button so this time I am setting the goal far away from where we are. A whole 50% more.

This time we're aiming at a PDF of 9 more archetypes! The Rampaging Spirit berserker/barbarian binds nature's opposites together in their raging maelstroms, the College of the Miraculous bard bandies about luck like magic, Circle of Hell druids take on the shapes of fiends, Unrelenting fighters become juggernauts of battle, Sensei adepts/monks impart wisdom and expertise in kind, Oath of the Magebreaker heralds/paladins use divine power to scour the realm of arcanist heretics, Ghostwalker rogues dance the line between life and death, warlocks of the Sovereign patron aspire to become beings of pure magic, and Magic Conduit wizards truly unlock the power of scrolls and enchanted items.

Thanks for pledging to the project! Please share it (or the Gemini Class Preview PDF!) on social media, with your fellow gamers, and wherever else rolling d20s comes up.

Double Achievement Achieved, 2 PDF Add-Ons Unlocked, and Stretch Goal #3
about 2 months ago – Thu, Jan 22, 2026 at 08:02:20 AM

Blown Away

Even my most optimistic projections did not anticipate this project crashing through BOTH of the achievements set up yesterday while I slept. I am flabbergasted and humbled. THANK YOU for backing Complete Class Compendium, and extra double thank you if you had a chance to share it with our fellow gamers.

Both Super Archetypes/Subclasses and Diehard Adventurers and Extraordinary Feats are now available as $5 add-ons! ♥

Each of these add-ons rewards 2 PDFs: one for Level Up: Advanced Fifth Edition and another for D&D 2024 (if you get both add-ons you will get 4 PDFs.)

Adventurers of Fortune and Affordable Enchantments Add-On at $5,000

Adventuring is always a gamble but never more so than for the Gambling Rager berserker/barbarian, College of Chance bard, Oath of Incidence herald/paladin, or Gambler rogue. After having a run of good luck when these adventurers are ample with coin there are 15 magic items—each less than 150 gold, filled with flavor but able to be destroyed for a more impactful effect—to spend some of that newfound money on.

Patreon

A fellow backer (thanks Matt!) reminded me that I have a Patreon! Every month I release at least one PDF on there, it's $1, $3, or $5 to join, and members get access to the backlog of 100+ posts. Check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/mikemyler.

The Poll: Speedster Pulls Ahead then Feywalker Confounds!

If you haven't voted yet, get over to the class poll and tell us which you are most excited to see. Yesterday the Speedster (appropriately) had a good lead, but as of this morning the Feywalker pulled into first place and the Mad Scientist has gained ground to tie for second.

Thank You!

Again, I am blown away by the response to Complete Class Compendium. So is my wife. And our dogs! Thought for sure there would be at least a day before one of those achievements, but I was absolutely shocked with both overnight. Thank you for your support!
